About Tony and His Journey
Tony Ortiz’s career is rooted in service, discipline, and accountability. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former Orlando police officer, Tony has dedicated his life to protecting communities, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating economic opportunity.
As a City Commissioner, he has led transformative initiatives in public safety, economic development, and community engagement, delivering measurable results that improve everyday life for Orlando residents.
For the past 15 years, I have been honored to serve as City of Orlando, District 2 Commissioner, working to build a stronger, more resilient, and united community. Unity through organization, empowerment, and results has guided every effort along the way.
